Hyderabad is playing host to The Golden Elephant, the 20th International Children’s Film Festival India. Team Divya Disha created awareness among school children who had gathered at Prashanth Theatre, Secunderabad to view a movie as part of this festival.
This event also launched our activities for the CHILDLINE se Dosti Week 2017.
Awareness on CHILDLINE at the 20th International Children’s Film Festival India
Children from Narayana Concept School and Sri Chaithanya Concept School listened intently as Team Divya Disha shared with them about the services of CHILDLINE.
They were informed that they could call the Toll Free # 1098 anytime they, their friends or any other children needed protection or assistance.
The team created awareness about the various dangers and being faced by children:
1. Child Sexual Abuse
2. Child Marriage
3. Child Labour
4. Physical Abuse
Children were encouraged to make testing calls to CHILDLINE to check the service.
They were also encouraged to reach out to CHILDLINE whenever they saw a child in trouble.
